The individual exhibition 'El cuerpo de nuestro tiempo' ('The body of our time'), proposes a space between intimate and public; between known and foreign. The exhibition poses an "in-between" that shows 4 new installations based on rituals that the artist has worked at daily for the last five years. This is her first individual show in Madrid, and is presented as a moment of apnea from which she rethinks her belonging. Like a bus stop, it is a point in the road where one can get on or off, that links two places: one known - the past, the stories the artist can tell - and one unknown - the expectations, the stories the viewer will project. It is in the pulse between the known and the unknown, between a familiar identity and an invented one, in which her work is situated.
