One Hair One Purpose is a piece born from and intimate technique: twisting, curling and pulling my own hair. And making it a ritual of public transformation. OHOP brings the often invisible and solitary process into a visible, slow, 3-week long performance in which all of my hair was slowly cut away and repurposed. The performance took place in three public locations.
